A variety of handicrafts, paintings, woodcarvings, coconut lamps, coconut carvings, kites, handicrafts made of bamboo are on display. This project gives an income to disabled artists enabling them to support themselves and their families. Having an income increases self-esteem and confidence. All the profits at the shop are used to support the programs at the Foundation.

Our art gallery shop is located on Jalan Raya Ubud near the central market at the corner of Jalan Hanoman, in front of the BPD Bank. We are open every day from 10 am to 6 pm. By purchasing our handicrafts you can help support Kupu-Kupu´s artists. Our shop is one of the most important projects of the Kupu-Kupu Foundation. It has been open since 2004. "Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day, teach him how to fish and he will eat for life”.

Artist Ketut Rauh is painting inside the shop.

For many the gallery has become a way of supporting themselves. Our shop also gives work to people with disabilities as shop assistants like Ketut Rauh (pictured). We have employed five people in total with disabilities at the shop. One of the most important things in their lives is to be as independent as possible, both physically and economically.
